It is with great pleasure that we invite you to the 25th International Eastern Mediterranean Family Medicine Congress EMFMC2026, to be held on 07th – 10th May 2026 in Mersin University Ugur Oral Congress Center, Mersin, Turkey. Plans for the in-person conference are going exceedingly well and we are confident we will deliver a dynamic, enriching, and memorable experience.

The theme of the conference is “The Conundrum of Disasters and Technological Change: A Health Care System with Qualified Family Physicians to Unravel the Enigmatic Uncertainty” and will cover the broad diversity of disciplines within family medicine, offering a dynamic and highly enriching program.

We encourage you all to note the dates of this important event in your diaries – 07th to 1oth May 2026 and use this excellent opportunity to gain insights into the current and future developments in family medicine and experience the warm hospitality of Eastern Mediterranean together with its unique culture and heritage.

All About the Congress

General Info

Congress Date and Place:
The 25th International Eastern Mediterranean Family Medicine Congress will be held online in Mersin between 07 – 10 May 2026.

Congress Language:
The official languages of the congress are English and Turkish.

Registration and Information:
Registration and information desks will open at the Congress Center on 07 May 2026 at 09:00 and will be open until 12:00 on 1o May 2026.

Badge:
It is necessary for all participants and their companions to wear their badges when entering the meeting center, during scientific sessions, in exhibition areas and other social programs, for the healthy running and safety of the meeting.

Accreditation:
The Turkish Medical Association gives Continuing Medical Education (STE) credit points to our meeting. TTB-STE forms regarding these loans will be included in the congress bags.
Our meeting will also be credited with Continuing Medical Education (CME) credit points. TAHYK-CME forms regarding these loans will be included in the congress bags.

Exhibition space:
During the congress, pharmaceutical and medical device companies will exhibit their products in the area reserved for them in the congress center. The exhibition area will be open throughout the entire congress.

Invitation letter:
An invitation letter will be sent to congress participants who have completed their registration, if they request it. This invitation letter is only intended to help participants obtain permission from the institutions they are affiliated with, and will not provide any financial support to the participant.

Courses
Within the scope of the congress program, various courses will be held on 07 and 1o May 2026. You can follow detailed information about the courses on the scientific program page.

Certificate of Participation, Scientific Program and Speech / Abstracts CD:
Participation certificates will be distributed at the registration desk at the congress center at the end of the congress. Congress Scientific Program and Speech / Paper abstracts will be published as PDF at www.daahk.org.
